The following comes from Toyota's statement on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and NASA report concerning alleged unintended acceleration in Toyota vehicles:

1. Transportation Secretary LaHood: "no electronic-based cause for unintended high-speed acceleration in Toyotas. Period."
